Her career will last her a lifetime whereas x-factor winners tend to be bled dry very quickly .     Stacy was by far the best singer,it is a total tragedy that she has not won,I suspect that the winner is decided by simon cowell and/or the producers and the public vote is ignored,as you never ever see the total public votes published for all to see,susan boyle suffred the same fate,simon has consistently put stacy down during each round,with silly comments such as,she does not move etc etc,simply because he knew what a threat she was to his contestants,i for one will never watch x factor again,im convinced its rigged,i said joe would win 4 weeks ago because of his good looking popstar image,and it proved to be the case,stacy you are gonna be a superstar and eclipse those who got into the final-(by whatever means),love Roger hebb.

    Stacey, so sorry you didn’t win X-factor but girl you have a fantastic voice and if you keep singing the way you do you will make it anyway without Simon Cowell (yes he would have supported you had you won but will he support you anyway?) Someone will good on you for having the bottle to go for it as you gave us all a treat. Zac is so lucky to have you as a mum and he is wonderful and a real treasure. The only saving grace with X-factor was Joe winning after you went out on the Saturday he was better than Olly but not as good as you.

    I still cannot believe Stacey’s performance with Michael in the final. AWESOME!!!!! What an absolute star!!! I agree, she ran rings around the other two when it came to those duets.She looked beautiful and sang with such power, passion and sheer joy.She looked a million dollars and gave us the performance to match!!!! I really hope this is not the last we hear from her!!

    I echo a lot of the positive comments here. Stacey was, ‘too good’ for the X Factor. The usual suspects tried to mould her into singing songs that did not even start to exploit her unique voice – They really let her down in order to preserve the poppy and boring format, constantly having themes based on people like Jacko. In my opinion Stacey was the only one in there that could sing properly in tune truly and in the correct key. I bet £63 on Stacey to win and I’m not bothered that she did not win. I was glad to lose my money because I really believed in Stacey. All the best to you Stacey and your family. I really think that even now Stacey you don’t fully realise how good you are. Don’t laugh at this but Stacey should work now with Susan Boyle. P.S. In my dreams Stacey I am married to you!

    Finally, someone said will Simon Cowell support Stacey now? Stacey and Olly probably made millions from both of them. How hurt I was to see them both appearing to a handful of people at Gatwick Airport. Cowell – Hang you head in shame!

    I totally agree with several of the comments that Stacey was too good for the x factor. In fact, for a few weeks previously we said that in our house, even though we still voted for her. She is by far the most amazing raw talent we have produced for a very long time, and a beautiful person as well-inside and out!To have Brian May & Roger Taylor say ‘don’t change a thing, sing it just like that’ and that she was their favourite counts for a lot more really than the pop trash the winners get to sing. She will have far more say in her career, ‘coz she surely will get a career and one that will not just last for a few brief years. This girl has the talent to be still singing in her 60’s+ like so many of the greats, Aretha Franklin, Shirley Bassey, Streisand etc etc. I hope Stacey has taken one thing with her from the experience and that is confidence in her amazing talent. Go and reach for the stars Stace, you have the ability to do it. I will buy her CD’s and it seems that many share my views. Love to you and Zac xx

    after seeing jedw**k on the national tv awards just goes to show what a fit up the x-factor really is ,if a pair of talentless muppetts can get a recording contract and release a single ,then REAL talent as possesed by stacey will shine through all the other crap that currently fills our airwaves. the queue for the first album is growing daily………………

    Maybe it just wasn’t Stacey’s turn. Notice how recently the winners have alternated between male & female…
    Leona, Leon, Alexandra, Joe… Maybe she should have entered in 2010.
    I hope she does well on her own as she has an amazing voice & a fun personality, but I can’t help thinking the “powers that be” decide who is going to win, not the viewers who vote.
